6 things to know about Demi-Leigh's rumoured bae Tim Tebow

Cape Town - Miss Universe 2017, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters is reportedly dating former NFL quarterback, Tim Tebow, and this is what we've learned about the beauty queen's rumoured bae.
The 23-year-old from Sedgefield has yet to confirm the relationship, but Tim broke the news during an interview with ESPN on Saturday.
Here are 6 things you might not have known about Tim Tebow:
1. He was born in the Philippines
Tim Tebow was born on 14 August 1987 in Makati City in the Philippines. His parents were Baptist missionaries living in the Philippines at the time of his birth.
2. He used to play American football, but now plays professional baseball
The former American football quarterback is currently a professional baseball outfielder in the New York Mets organisation.
3. He has been romantically linked to Miss Universe 2012, Olivia Culpo
The former NFL player dated model Olivia Culpo in 2015, but called it quits less than two months after taking their relationship public.
The New York Daily News, which first reported the break-up, claimed Olivia ended things because Tebow kept his vow to remain a virgin until marriage.
4. His favorite movie is Braveheart
In a 2011 interview with The New York Post he said that his favourite movie is the 1995 action-drama Braveheart. In the same interview he also said that his favourite actress is Jennifer Aniston and cited Will Smith as his favourite actor.
5. He is a published author
Tim released his autobiography, Through My Eyes - which he co-wrote with author Nathan Whitaker in 2011 - in which he details his early life growing up in Jacksonville and the Philippines, as well as his college football experiences.
He went on to follow-up his memoir with a young readers' edition titled Through My Eyes: A Quarterback's Journey, also co-written with Whitaker.
6. He is an animal lover and has a dog named, Bronco.
Appearing on the Rachael Ray Show in 2016, Tim said that he refers to Bronco has his "son." He further admitted to spoiling his dog (a lot!) and said that Bronco is the "nicest, sweetest, kindest dog."
