Union government’s most popular exam, JEE (main) and NEET will be held twice a year by National Testing Agency (NTA), said Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar last week. JEE (main) for undergraduate admission for various engineering colleges will be held in January and April.
The exams will be held multiple times and students can choose the date when they want to give the exams. And if the students appear for the JEE (main) and NEET twice, their best score will be taken into account.
“The main feature is that students will not lose one year because there will be two examinations before admission. He/ she can appear in either of the two, or both. The best score will be taken into account for the result,” Javadekar later tweeted.
