An RPF constable saved a man from being crushed under a running train at Mumbai's Panvel railway station on Saturday evening.
The passenger attempted to board a moving train and lost his balance, getting dragged along the platform's edge. CCTV footage of the incident showed the man hanging on for his dear life as the train dragged him for a few metres.
A bystander on the platform tries to help but quickly backtracks, fearful for his own safety. A constable with the Panvel RPF, however, then jumps into action and quickly drags the man away from the moving train.
The constable quick-thinking action certainly saved with the life of the man who would probably have lost his grip and slipped into the gap between the train and the platform had he not been pulled away.
