Indore: Aam Aadmi Party’s national convener and Delhi’s chief minister Arvind Kejriwal blew election bugle in the state and targeted governments of both Narendra Modi and Shivraj Singh Chouhan in a public rally held at Sugnidevi Ground, on Sunday.
“When the world is talking about technology and 5G, our Prime Minister is describing the Congress as a party of Muslims and the BJP as a party of Hindus,” he said. “This proves that no development has taken place in the four years of the Modi rule,” Kejrial said adding that “even the 3G doesn’t work in our country well.”
The Delhi CM further said people want new technologies and better facilities. “We want to see our country reach acme not by dividing people in the name of religion, caste and creed. An Indian, who is serving in top companies in a foreign country, doesn’t differentiate himself on the basis of religion and has the identity of Indian first,” he said.
Kejriwal challenged Chouhan to name a few development works he had done in his 15 years rule and asked Chouhan to compare his works with that of three years of Delhi regime. “I challenge Chouhan to count works done by him in last 15 years. If he can count more works than us then he has the right to become the CM again,” Kejriwal said. He also named works he had done in Delhi including changes made in the government education system and health services by launching ‘Mohalla Clinics’ etc.
Alok Agrawal is the CM’s face
While launching election campaign in state, Kejriwal also declared state president of Aam Aadmi Party Alok Agrawal as CM’s candidate in the state. “Agrawal has studied in IIT. He could have gone to the US if he wanted to. But after completing his studies, he chose to serve people,” Kejriwal said.
