Two 'drug peddlers' caught by youth club members in Punjab

Members of a youth club in a village in Ferozepur district of today caught two people they said were drug peddlers.

Manjinder Singh Bhullar, in-charge of a team formed by the to track down and catch drug peddlers, said they received information that a few youths were injecting drugs under a railway overbridge near the village.

"The members of our club caught the two youths," he said.

"One small electronic weighing machine and some cash was recovered from them," he added.

The youths were later handed over to police.
