HYDERABAD: Carcass of a leopard was discovered floating in flood waters of Singur dam in Peddareddypalle village of Pulkal mandal in Sangareddy on Saturday. When contacted, forest department officials from Sangareddy ruled out any poaching incident. The officials said there has been no direct sighting of a leopard or reports of cattle kill in the nearby areas. Moreover, they said that no sign of injuries of wounds due to poaching or pulling out of claws was observed. The officials said the leopard carcass was found to be in a swollen state and the death must have occurred due to natural causes.
