MCI approves to increase RIMS PG seat to 250

The fear looming large over PG seats of RIMS, Ranchi has ended. The Medical Council of India has assured not to reduce number of seats. Efforts made by Principal Secretary Nidhi Khare of Health Department have brought fruitful results.

 MCI had threatened to cancel all 198 PG seats of RIMS. RIMS administration did not upload all the information on time. MCI was annoyed over it. On Friday, Nidhi Khare met MCI's Secretary Reena Nayyar, and provided all the seats of UG and PG so that seats are retained.

MCI has assured that seats will be retained. Principal Secretary Nidhi Khare told that there is nothing to worry about. RIM Director has provided the MCI with all the desired information. In future, we will try to capture all types of information from time to time. All medical colleges in the state have been given instructions about this.

At the same time, the Government of India has agreed to increase the seats of RIMS to 250. After this, now the MCI will come to inspect RIMS.
