Putting a step forward for cashless economy, the Odisha Government has decided to implement a digital payment system in all its offices.

A proposal on execution of the digital payment system has been approved by Finance Minister Sashi Bhushan Behera.

In this regard, Finance Additional Chief Secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey has written a letter to all the departments of the Government.

With implementation of the system, the public and the beneficiaries of schemes can make payments through debit cards, BHIM App and the Aadhaar-linked payment system. The offices can use Point of Sale (POS) machines of two different banks for receiving the payment from people.
