A flight from to with 173 passengers on board was diverted to due to ATC "congestion" today delaying its arrival in by nearly three-and-a-half hours.

Flight 465 was scheduled to depart from here at 12.05 PM, but it took off at 12.20 PM.

Its scheduled arrival in New was 2.20 PM. "However, the flight was diverted to where it landed at 3 PM. We remained seated in the aircraft till it took off for at 4.57 PM," said a woman passenger who was travelling to Delhi to attend a family function.

""Since 3 PM we remained stuck in the aircraft....We had left home at 10 AM. But there was nothing to eat in the aircraft and we had to depend only on a cup of noodles," she added.
