GURUGRAM: The state government has agreed to recalculate enhancement dues for Huda sectors across Gurugram.
On Friday, BJP Haryana spokesperson Raman Malik announced at a press conference that the recalculation would be done for allottees who had not availed the one time settlement scheme (OTSS) under which a 40% rebate was offered to allottees.

Malik said, “There will be changes in the allotment policy itself. Huda will formulate the new guidelines based on agreed points after which comments from the public would be invited through its website. The comments will be reviewed before sending them to estate officers for revised calculations.”

The Haryana State Confederation said the government should address allottee grievances and formulate a committee to resolve teething issues.

“To ensure transparency, the process of re-calculation of enhancement dues and rate per unit of measured land would involve chartered accountants. In case of any points of contention, there will be no hesitation from the government’s side in taking legal opinion from retired judges to ensure a decision in the public interest,” said Yashvir Malik, convener, Haryana State Confederation.

Property owners said that the government promised to carry out the recalculation of enhancement dues under mutually-agreed principles.
