IAAF World U-20 championship 2018: Ashish Jakhar finishes 6th in hammer throw

Ashish Jakhar, Asian junior champion in men’s hammer throw competition, could not replicate his feat this time in World under-20 athletics championship 2018. Jhakar though claimed third spot in his second attempt with 74.59m throw, could not better his second round mark in the third attempt. Jake Norris of Britain won the gold with 80.65m in hammer throw event. Mykhaylo Kokhan of Ukraine won the silver with 79.68m while Ukraine's Mykhaylo Havryliuk won Bronze with 77.71m attempt.
