Ujjain : Akhil Bharatiya Gayatri Parivar and forest department will jointly hold a plantation drive at ‘Matra smriti upvan’ at Government Engineering College premises on Sunday.
Various groups like Sanstha Rupantaran, The Initiative Society and around 400 members of Engineering College will participate in drive. Shanti Kunj Haridwar coordinator Vishnu Pandya will be present as special guest. Bhopal zone coordinator Narayan Prasad Sharma, Rakesh Kumar Gupta, DFO P N Mishra will also marked their presence. In another event a plantation dive was organised by self-help groups under ‘Shakti Pariyojana,’ an initiative of Kripa welfare Society at Malkhedi village on Saturday. Members had roped the saplings and taken oath to protect trees and environment. Programme in charge Prem Shankar Joshi and other members were present.
