Archaeologists in Egypt said they have discovered a mummification workshop and a shaft dating back some 2,500 years at Saqqara necropolis of Memphis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The find belongs to the Saite-Persian Period, from 664 to 404 B.C.

Archaeologists believe it will reveal more about the oils used in the mummification process in the 26th Dynasty.
