MALKANGIRI : Sports and Youth Services Minister Chandra Sarathi Behera, accompanied by Public Works department Secretary Nalinikant Pradhan and district Collector Manish Agarwal, on Friday visited the Gurupriya bridge site amid heavy rains and took stock of the ground reality ahead of its inauguration by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

The 910-metre bridge, stated to be the dream project of Naveen, will connect the cut-off region on the other side of Chitrakonda reservoir with the mainland.Behera and the officials took a walk on the bridge from one side to the other and interacted with BSF personnel deployed at the site.
