Bharatiya Janata Party had gained power in State by making false promises and people will teach the party a lesson in the upcoming elections said Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CGPCC) Chief Bhupesh Baghel.

He was addressing a farmer’s rally at Mohla block of Rajnandgaon on Friday.

Baghel claimed that the Congress party will win all the six assembly seats from the Rajnandgaon region in the upcoming elections which was limited to four in the previous polls.

Criticizing the BJP government for making false promises of enforcing Prohibition in the state, Baghel said instead of restricting, it was selling liquor on its own.

He further declared that Prohibition would be imposed if Congress party forms the Government in the State after the elections.

He reiterated that as per declaration of All India Congress Committee Chief Rahul Gandhi , complete loan waiver of farmers and power tariff bills will be cut to half for the farmers  within 10 days of formation of the Government.
