Canberra duo make strong start at World Rowing Cup

Canberra duo Calen Antill and Luke Letcher claimed third in the first heat at the World Rowing Cup in Switzerland on Saturday.

The pair made up half of the Australian quadruple scull team which finished the 2000-meter race in under six minutes, behind Lithuania and Poland.

The Aussies were looking solid in second place at the half way point but couldn't hold their spot and stopped the clock at 5:45:63.
