3 arrested with 16 kg of opium in Rajasthan

Three people were arrested with 16 kg of worth Rs 1 crore in Rajasthan's district today, police said.

At least 16 packets of opium, weighing 1 kg each, were found in a tool box of a truck at a check post near Parbatsar, SP (Nagaur) said.

The truck driver, identified as Hakim Khan, and his helper had brought the narcotic substance from and were on their way to deliver it to Hazari Lal Soni in Phalodi town, he said.

The three men were arrested, he added.
