GHAZIABAD: The Allahabad high court has deferred hearing in Indirapuram Habitat Centre sealing case July 18. Soon after the deferment on Friday, IHC shopkeepers sought time from GDA vice chairperson to find a way out to end the impasse.

“Since the case has been deferred by Allahabad HC till Wednesday which means that sealing would go on for five more days and we have already incurred huge losses. We have proposed a solution to the GDA vice chairperson and for that, we will be meeting her on Friday” said Anuj Mittal, who owns a shop in IHC.

Meanwhile, GDA vice chairperson Ritu Maheshwari stated that the proposal from shopkeepers is being deliberated upon by development agency. “Shopkeepers from IHC met me a few days ago with a proposal which is being considered and hopefully we will agree upon a formula which is mutually beneficial to both of us” she added.
