Two robbed of phones, cash in an hour

GURUGRAM: Five-six men were booked for stealing mobile phones, a laptop and cash from two Delhi residents on Tuesday in two separate robberies. In the first case, Lalit Kumar (27), resident of Uttam Nagar in Delhi took a cab on the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway around 9pm. “When the driver took a U-turn from under the Shankar Chowk flyover, the other 2 stole my laptop, mobile phone and Rs 2,000 cash,” Kumar said.

At 10pm, Hemant Sharma, resident of Bharat Vihar, Delhi, took a cab from Sector 17. There were four people, including the driver, in it already. This driver too took a U-turn from under the Shankar Chowk flyover before stealing his phone, credit and debit cards, and withdrawing Rs 20,000 at an ATM with his accomplices.
