LUCKNOW: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed a charge-sheet in a Lucknow court on Friday and named 10 persons including BJP MLA
Kuldeep Singh Sengar for falsely implicating the father of Unnao rape survivor in Arms Act case.
The other nine persons include Ashok Singh Bhadauriya, a police inspector, sub-inspector Kamta Prasad, constable Amir Khan, Tinku Singh, Vinay Mishra, Bauwa Singh, Atul Singh Sengar, Sonu Singh and Suman Singh. They were also accused of charges of giving false evidence to public servant framing incorrect record against a person.
With this, the CBI has filed the final charge-sheet in the case of violence and rape in Unnao. The CBI had registered three FIRs in the
Unnao case on April 13. BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar has been named by the CBI officials in two chargesheet.
Sengar was accused of rape, kidnapping, criminal conspiracy, criminal intimidation and under Sections 3 and 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, along with Shashi Singh. The CBI filed the second charge-sheet on July 11 while the first charge-sheet was filed on July 7.
