The rains came as a respite to the people of Delhi-NCR after days of scorching heat. The heavy rainfall also led to water-logging in various parts of the city.

It said Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Nainital, Bageshwar and Pithoragrarh districts are likely to receive heavy rain over the next 12 hours.
