The Rail Vikas Bhavan, office of the DRM, Guntur, has added another feather in its cap after being awarded the first prize in the category of office premises (Public) by the A.P. Greening and Beautification Corporation. VG Bhooma, DRM, will receive the award from Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu at the Vanamahotsvam programme to be held at Nuziveedu on July 14. Ms. Bhooma has been initiating several measures to enhancing energy efficiency and greenery in the office premises like water conservation, utilisation of natural resources (solar, water) energy saving methods and waste management policies. The Rail Vikas Bhavan had been awarded green rating certificate also by the Indian Green Building Council.
