Rockingham tattoo parlour rammed with truck, set on fire
A Rockingham tattoo parlour was set on fire in the early hours of Thursday morning, after offenders rammed it with a stolen truck.
Arson Squad investigators are seeking information about the blaze on the corner of Flinders Lane and Kent Street in Rockingham.
Police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to the fire just after 3.10am.
The stolen Hino truck was reversed through concrete bollards and into the store before offenders set fire to the truck and business.
The fire caused extensive damage, estimated to be $20,000 for the truck and $500,000 for the business.
The truck was stolen from a commercial property located on Frederic Street in Naval Base in the early hours of Sunday, July 8.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone who may have relevant information about the fire or who saw the stolen truck anytime between Sunday and Thursday.
