Huawei Nova 3i leaked online, reveals key specifications

Chinese telecom giant Huawei recently unveiled its new smartphone in China. Dubbed as Huawei Nova 3, the smartphone sports a notch display, four cameras and HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset. Now, it looks like the company is planning to launch another smartphone in Nova series, likely to be called Novia 3i.

A tipster on Chinese microblogging website Weibo has compared the specifications of Nova 3 with a smartphone called Nova 3i. The leaked image also contains the images of both the smartphones.

As per the leaked image, the Nova 3i smartphone is said to come with newly-launched HiSilicon Kirin 710 Soc and slightly toned down version of camera and battery. Looking at the images leaked by the tipster suggests that both the smartphone are similar in terms of design with the dual camera at both front and back along with a notch display.

Nova 3i is expected to feature a 12nm Kirin 710 processor paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. Coming to the camera, the smartphone is speculated to rock a dual camera setup at both front and back. While the front camera setup of 24-megapixel and 2-megapixel remains the same as its elder sibling, the rear primary camera has been changed to 16-megapixel from the 24-megapixel. However, the secondary 2-megapixel camera sensor remains the same.

The smartphone is tipped to come with a smaller 3340mAh battery without the fast charging support, instead of 3750 mAh battery of Nova 3. The software information has not been revealed yet, but we can expect that smartphone will run on the company’s own EMUI operating system on the top of Android 8.1 Oreo.

As per the leaked image too the smartphone will feature the new GPU Turbo technology from the company along with 3D Qmoji. As of now, there’s no information about when Huawei is planning to launch this smartphone.
