Anushka Sharma was one proud wife on Thursday. The actor was beaming with pride for her cricketer husband Virat Kohli as he led the Indian team to victory in the first one-day international at Trent Bridge on Thursday.

Fans made videos of Anushka cheering for Virat from their TV screens and posted them on Twitter. She rose to her feet to applaud Virat’s half century and showered him with flying kisses after India won the match by eight wickets.

She shared stadium seats with cricketer Shikhar Dhawan’s wife Aesha and the two looked really proud of their husbands and the entire team for their stunning victory against the hosts.

Anushka was seen arriving for the match with Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s wife Sakshi and their daughter Ziva. Also spotted in the same car were Ayesha Dhawan, Aliyah Dhawan and Ritika Sajdeh.

Anushka is the biggest cheerleader of her husband. She was spotted cheering for him at several matches during the recent Indian Premiere League 2018 and has accompanied him to the England tour as well.

The couple tied the knot in December 2017 in a secret wedding in Italy. Anushka will soon be seen opposite Varun Dhawan in Sui Dhaaga and with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in Zero.
