HYDERABAD: In a shocking incident of depravity, a 17-year-old boy allegedly molested his 80-year-old neighbour in Kushaiguda on Thursday. The boy, an intermediate student, managed to escape when the woman’s daughter raised alarm.

The boy is reportedly still at large. According to police, the woman and her daughter stay in a house in Kailasagiri. On Thursday afternoon she was alone at home when the boy, who lived in a neighbouring house, came and struck up a conversation with her. After a few minutes, he held her hands and started misbehaving with her. The boy did not stop even after the woman begged him to, the police said.
