DIBRUGARH: The police special investigation team formed to crack the murder case of Assam Agricultural University student Radha Kumari arrested two suspects on Thursday.
The team is probing whether the crime has any link to the murder of another woman discovered a day after the first crime under similar circumstances.

Radha, a second-year BSc (Agriculture) student, was found dead with her throat slit inside the toilet of a coach of the Dibrugarh-Rangiya Express at Simaluguri Jn in Sivasagar on Tuesday morning.

One of the accused, Kanak Gogoi, had earlier been held for murdering his wife inside a train in 2017.

The other accused, Bikash Das, was held from Tinsukia station.
