Madhya Pradesh CM dedicates NTPC’s 250 MW Solar Project In Suwasra

Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Hon’ble Chief Minister, MP on Wednesday, 11th July 2018 dedicated to the State of MP, NTPC’s 250 MW Solar Power Plant in Suwasra, District Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. This project has been set up by NTPC at an investment of approx. Rs 1500 Cr mainly on non-agricultural land and Generation of Electricity have been achieved without affecting the natural eco-system with zero carbon emission.

BIS raidsElectrical Insulation Tapes Manufacturing Unit

Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), conducted an enforcement raid at the premises of M/s. REFLEX INDUSTRIES, in Delhi recently. The above mentioned unit without having a valid BIS licence was manufacturing Self Adhesive Electrical Insulation PVC tapes under brand names “BSF” with CM/L- 8100022788 and “Hans” with CM/L- 8545596 as per IS 7809: (Part 3/Sec 1): 1986 violating Section 17 (3) of BIS Act 2016 which is a punishable offence.

Free Health Check-up camp by POWERGRID Mahila Samiti

A free health check-up camp was organized by SrishtiMahilaSamiti at Max Hospital for POWERGRID employees, family members as well as all assistant staff, maintenance staff, gardeners, maids and housekeeping staff and people from PWO. Smt. UshaJha, President, SrishtiMahilaSamiti was also present on this occasion.  

Over 400 haemodialysis done in the Central Hospital

An ultra modern haemodialysis unit was set up in the Central hospital of North Western Railway last year for the benefit of Railway beneficiaries. The procedure of haemodialysis of railway patients in this unit was started from 1st November. According to Shri Tarun Jain, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, so far, more than 400 patients have been benefited from this facility in the last 8 months. It is known that when kidney disease reaches its final stage, treatment with dialysis only is possible. In the past, patients had to be referred to other nominated hospitals due to the lack of this facility which was more time taking. Because of this facility in the Central Hospital, the patients get the benefit of treatment of other specialities as well under the same roof.

India Korea Technology Exchange Centre Inaugurated at NSIC

The India Korea Technology Exchange Centre was inaugurated at National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) on 10th July 2018  by Shri Giriraj Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of MSME and Mr. Hong Jong Haak, the Hon’ble Minister ofSMEs and Start-ups of Republic of Korea, creating a new era of association with India and Korea in the field of growth of MSMEs both the countries. Also present on this occasion were Shri RavindraNath,CMD,NSIC ,Dr.A.K.Panda,Secretary MSME, Shri P.Udayakumar,Director(P&M) ,Shri A.K.Mittal,Director(Fin),Ms.AlkaNangia Arora, Joint Secretary ,MSME and senior officers of Ministry of MSME and NSIC

NLCIL inaugurates Free Tailoring Classes for the Women

As a part its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, NLCIL has been continuously imparting  various vocational training courses  to the women members  of surrounding villages, to sustain  their lively hood, to increase self-reliance and  self-esteem by training them in  various trades like Tailoring, Light Motor Vehicle Driving,  German Jewellery Making, Beautician Course etc.For the Financial Year 2018-19, NLCIL has inaugurated Tailoring Classes for 180 Women members in three phases at Women Empower Centre, Block-9, Neyveli, on 11.07.2018.
