Sensex hits record high; Nifty reclaims 11,000 for first time since February 2018

The BSE Sensex scaled fresh record high in early trade on Thursday amid firm global cues and fall in crude oil prices. The 30-share index opened 161 points up at 36,424.23 and touched its new high of 36,492.49. As a result, the NSE Nifty also reclaimed 11,000-mark in today's trade for the first time since February 1, 2018.
