PM Modi to interact with members of women Self Help Groups through video conferencing Read In Hindi

PM Modi said the interaction will be aimed at highlighting how women Self Help Groups are bringing in a positive change at the grassroots level.

PM Modi is scheduled to interact with those associated with women Self Help Groups across India via video conferencing over NaMo app on Thursday. PM Modi said the interaction will be aimed at highlighting how women Self Help Groups are bringing in a positive change at the grassroots level.

"I will interact with those associated with women Self Help Groups across India. It would be wonderful to hear their experiences, especially how they are driving a positive change at the grassroots level," PM Modi tweeted.

The groups, which will take part in the interaction, are under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM), Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) and Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETIs).

       
Some of the selected beneficiaries are working on anti-alcohol movement, maize value chain and marketing from Bihar, brick making unit from Chhattisgarh, business correspondent Sakhi and tamarind value chain and marketing and one beneficiary from Jharkhand.  

Later in the day, PM Modi will also inaugurate the new headquarters building of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
The ASI's new headquarters at Tilak Marg in New Delhi has been equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including energy efficient lighting and rainwater harvesting.
