Three new clips from Avengers: Infinity War, the year’s biggest film, have been released online to build up to its home video release later this month. The clips, titled Black Order’s Threat, Tony’s Plan and Thanos Fight, show three pivotal scenes from the film, for the first time since its theatrical release.

What makes this better is that each of the three videos is available to watch in 4K high-definition. The first scene shows the arrival on Earth of the supervillain Thanos’ minions, the Black Order. The ensuing confrontation brings Tony Stark, Doctor Strange, and a malfunctioning Bruce Banner to the streets of New York. It also contains the eternal Tony line, “Dude, you’re embarrassing me in front of the wizard,” which Stark says to Banner when he can’t Hulk out.

The second scene is set on Titan, Thanos’ destroyed home planet, when Tony comes up with a plan to take him down. It’s a mostly comedic scene, which is really the first time Tony is meeting members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Like the first scene, this one, too, has a memorable line. When Tony asks the Guardians what exactly it is that they do, Mantis replies, “Kick names, take ass.”

The third scene is the most serious of them all. It’s the final showdown on Titan between Thanos and the Iron Man-led Avengers, while the Captain America-led heroes have a showdown back on Earth. We see Doctor Strange, Spider-Man and Iron Man take the fight to Thanos, but to no avail.

Those of you who’ve seen the film would know that things didn’t end well for the Avengers. Thanos left them, beaten and defeated on Titan, and went to Earth, where he performed his finger snap and ‘killed’ half the universe’s population, including half the Avengers.

Avengers: Infinity War had a remarkable box office run. The film has grossed over $2 billion worldwide, including at least Rs 250 crore in India, which makes it only the fourth film in history to cross that mark, and the biggest Hollywood release of all time in India.

The film will be released on digital home video on July 31 and August 16 on physical disks.

Before the Marvel Cinematic Universe concludes this storyline in 2019’s Avengers 4, fans will return to the MCU in this week’s Ant-Man and the Wasp and early next year with Captain Marvel.
