Ujjain: Hoarding promoting Jan ashirwad yatra posing threat, says Congress

Ujjain: City Congress committee acting president Ravi Rai informed that during arrangements for jan ashirwad yatra politicians and government officials forgot traffic rules and placed big size hoardings in the middle of traffic rotaries and on the road everywhere in the city.

A huge box type hoarding has been placed on the ground of Chamunda Mata Circle to publicize the government works but this is posing serious threat to life of common citizens.

Every day one or two incidents of bike collision can be seen around the circle, Rai said. In the past several religious and political rallies held in the city but this kind of encroachment has been never done before, he added. He informed to the police and municipal officials and demanded to remove these hoardings on priority basis.

Widow to seek justice from BJP chief

A widow Durga Bai Meena will ask for justice from BJP chief Amit Shah who is coming for BJP’s jan ashirwad yatra on Saturday. A land survey number 1626 to 1628 located in Kanipura, Agar road was registered in the name of her husband Kamal Singh Meena. In 2009 Indira Nagar resident Sudheer Yadav allegedly transferred the papers on his name and sold the land to Dilip Jain brother of former city president of BJP, Anil Jain Kaluheda.

Kamal died in 2015 and after that when she asked for land to Sudheer he refused to return land. Durga had made compliant several times to collector and superintendent of police but no action has been taken yet. So now she will directly ask to Amit Shah and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for justice.
