LUCKNOW: Railways has found a way to maintain punctuality. As the trains were running late for a long time on Northern, North Western and North Central railway routes, officers increased running time of important trains so that they can improve the punctuality graph.

They have increased the running time of 93 trains, ranging from 20 to 60 minutes. According to this, the trains, even after being 'late', will reach the destination on time. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal had warned them of action if the punctuality was not improved.

The operating officers have released the notification in this regard. Now, the arrival of Nauchandi Express at Saharanpur station has been moved ahead by 1 hour, while Ganga Gomti Express timing has been moved by 45 minutes.

During non-interlinking, routes of some trains will be diverted.

Nilanchal Express on July 17, Farakka Express on July 14 and Marudhar Express on July 18 will go from Varanasi via Sultanpur.

Janta Express will run between Varanasi-Jafrabad-Faizabad from 14-20 July.

Kashi Vishwanath will leave Varanasi at 5pm instead of 2pm. Varanasi-Lucknow passenger will terminate at Pratapgarh from July 14-20.
