Shashi Tharoor issues '2019' warning, says 'Hindu Pakistan' if BJP wins

In a controversial statement congress leader Shashi Tharoor has said that democracy will not survive if BJP come to power again in 2019. Speaking at a public event in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday Tharoor said if BJP is re-elected rights of minorities would be trampled. Not only this BJP will write a new constitution making India a less tolerant and inclusive. Tharoor said BJP will turn India into "Hindu Pakistan". Tharoor's statement has certainly stirred a major controversy and BJP leaders have lashed out at the congress.
