CHENNAI: Metro rail commuters could play a traditional game or two before boarding a train, as Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) is organising a series of events from July 16 to August 13 to celebrate Madras Week.
CMRL along with Kreeda, an organisation that works towards reviving traditional games of India, will conduct a month-long road show ahead of Madras Week to give commuters a peek into the forgotten games.

Volunteers from Kreeda will be at all the metro stations to engage commuters in traditional games like pallankuzhi, paramapatham, aadu puli aatam, kattam vilaiyattu, nakshatra vilaiyattu, nallu katta dhayam and dhadi.

The volunteer team in red and yellow will have tables and games set up for people to play at the stations.
