She wrote to Gadkari after several cases of taxi drivers misbehaving with women passengers were reported.

On July 1, an Ola allegedly attempted to abduct a woman passenger enroute to the in Bengaluru. The driver was later arrested.

Last month, another was arrested for allegedly molesting a 26-year-old on her way to the airport.
