A rental car which was stolen from Bengaluru on June 18 has been found in a bus stand in Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh.
The car has been towed to Ashok Nagar police station.
On June 18, Mahesh Nutan Kumar, a 24-year-old resident of Venkatanagar in East Godavari, hired the car from a self-drive company. He had submitted a copy of a driving licence that belonged to Sai Kumar, a 22-year-old resident of Indrapalam in Kakinada.
Police said Mahesh is named in at least four cases for stealing vehicles. He has been communicating with his family only through internet calls, which are difficult to trace.
