Money kept for “Mrityu bhoj” donated for treatment of eye patients
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Surendra Garden Bhopal based Ragini Sharma donated Rs. 51 Thousand to Sewa Sadan Hospital for the treatment of eye patients on Tuesday. This money was kept for “Mrityu bhoj” on Triyodashi ritual of her husband Late Anil Sharma, who expired on June 19th, 2018.
Thus Ragini rejecting all old customs set worth emulating example and shows the way to the society. Ragini Sharma was inspired by her brother in law J.P. Sharma, who is also a retired A.P.C.C.F. in MP forest Dept. Not only sewa sadan, Ragini donated Rs. 25 Thousand to Blind hostel Shivaji Nagar and some amount to Local Gaushala also. Deceased Anil Sharma was 62 years old and a retired Chief Mechanical Engineer in Railways.
Ragini Sharma came to Sewa Sadan on Tuesday evening. She distributed foods and meals to 103 eye patients. These patients were brought from a free eye camp held at Mehatwara the other day.
After distribution of meals and fruits, mixed expression of pains of separation with her late husband and satisfaction of donating money for a noble cause was observed on the face of Ragini.
Brother-in-law of donor Shri J.P. Sharma said that the society should come forward to initiate and establish these new examples. Managing Trustee L.C. Janiyani stressed the need to change old customs for the welfare of poor and needy.
