Madhya Pradesh keeping India backwards, Vidisha lagging behind – NITI Ayog
Chronicle Reporter, Vidisha, Governor Mrs. Anandi Ben Patel Visited Vidisha on Tuesday and reached village Hansua in Vidisha district and saw Anganwadi center and examined academic activities by communicating with the students of primary and middle school.
State Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel reached the various wards of the District Hospital also and. Communicated with patients and received health facilities informations. She discussed with the patients admitted in the surgical ward about their problems.
Governor Mrs Anandiben Patel went to the NRC Center also in the District Hospital and inquired about children. Governor Mrs. Anandi Ben Patel’s visit to Vidisha specially in the field of Health and Nutrition is significant because Vidisha District is declared one of the most backward in Health & Nutrition sector in the country.
NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant said that Madhya Pradesh is one of the States keeping India backward. Eight Districts in M.P. are responsible stigma or mark of disgrace.
Vidisha of External Affairs Minister and Chief Minister is one of the disgracing districts. NITI Ayog has published Base Line Ranking of backwardness. Base line ranking of vidisha is 42 (37.12%). Sectors chosen to measure backwardness are Health & Nutrition, Education, Agriculture & Water Resources, Financial Inclusion & Skill Development, and Basic Infrastructure .
In Health and Nutrition rank of vidisha is 98 Vidisha . This means Vidisha is one of the most disappointing district in India in Health and Nutrition sector. In Health and Nutrition sector Vidisha is in bottom 20, in other sectors Vidisha is not declared in bottom 20.
