Mumbai: While the Indian Idol frenzy may have been presenting opportunities to many singing aspirants, singer Neha Kakkar indirectly became victim of social media trolls after she started crying at one of the auditions. However, she gave it back to the trollers.

It all began at one of the auditions of Indian Idol 10 in Delhi when Neha got surprised when one of the aspirants introduced himself as the son of Jagdish Chugh, who had help her during difficult times and as a result, the “Dhating Naach” singer moved to tears as Mrs. Chugh came on stage to shower praises on Neha for being devoted to music from an early age.  However, she soon became a victim of social media trolls which indicated that such emotional behaviour was only to gain TRPs for the show.

Nonetheless, she fired back at these trolls via her social media account stating that she is proud of her emotional personality and she can’t change this attitude on-screen. “If I find something funny, I laugh my lungs out, if I find something really sad, it makes me cry… this is how I am and I will remain the same till I am alive,” said Neha in her Twitter post.

However, she also stated that the trolls had her laugh and the show only takes good singers ahead rather than being dependent on those who have sad stories.
