Elementary school education director told to appear before Court in Tamil Nadu

The Madras High Court on Wednesday directed the Director of Elementary School Education to appear before it on July 18 for not filing his counter in connection with a writ petition.

CHENNAI: The Madras High Court on Wednesday directed the Director of Elementary School Education to appear before it on July 18 for not filing his counter in connection with a writ petition. Justice S Vaidyanathan gave the directive when a writ petition from S Sasikumar of Chinna Kodungaiyur here
came up.

The petition prayed for a directive to officials concerned to inspect the Sri Saravana Vidhyalaya Nursery and Primary School, located in Jeeva Main Street at Puzhal, and the scrutiny certificates submitted by the management for applying for approval from the education department.
