Porsche 911 GT2 RS At Mugello Will Give You An Adrenaline Rush

The internet can’t get enough of the latest Porsche 911 GT2 RS, and for good reason. It’s a heck of a fast ride with lots and lots of power, making it a beast, in the hands of someone skilled.

Taming the 700PS (690hp / 515kW) and 750Nm (553lb-ft) of torque produced by the twin-turbo 3.8-liter flat-six engine takes practice and nerves of steel.

And while almost everyone can achieve the manufacturer quoted 2.9 sec for the 0-100km/h (0-62mph) sprint, the same cannot be said about a fast lap at the track. Proof stands a rather unfortunate incident recorded at the Nurburgring earlier this year, where an overenthusiastic owner crashed his brand new Porsche 911 GT2 RS, a few days after taking delivery.

During the filming of the following video, however, no sports cars were harmed. The driver pushed the ‘widow maker’ almost to the limit at the Mugello Circuit, in Tuscany, Italy, conquering its 5.2km (3.3mi) and 14 turns, which resulted in a very exciting footage.

Before moving on to the video, we have to tell you that you shouldn’t expect any sideways action or heavy revving, as it’s all about going both fast and safe on one of the best tracks the world has to offer.
