Chile's kiwifruit export to India set double this year

Chile's export to is expected to double to 10,000 tonnes this year, as the country enjoys customs duty advantage over other competing nations like New Zealand, according to a trade body.

"We started exporting kiwifruit 2-3 years ago. We exported 5,000 tonnes last year. So far this year, we have surpassed the last year's level to 8,000 tonnes. We are hopefull of reaching 10,000 tonnes mark by end of 2018 calendar year," the association told
