Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises
The Nifty July 2018 futures traded at 10,937.50, a discount of 10.80 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10,948.30 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 7.90 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 5.86 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 1.05 points or 0.01% to settle at 10,948.30.
TCS, Reliance Industries and Infosys were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
TCS July 2018 futures traded at 1,969.90, at a discount over spot closing price of 1970. Reliance Industries July 2018 futures traded at 1,037, at a premium over spot closing price of 1,040. Infosys July 2018 futures traded at 1,320.90, at a premium over spot closing price of 1,319.
The July 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 26 July 2018.
