The National Weather Service is warning of rough surf and possible rip currents over the next few days as the remnants of Hurricane Chris pass far out to sea.

The surf will run from 3 to 5 feet on the South Coast and islands, and 1 to 2 feet on the South Shore.

Minor coastal flooding is possible on east-facing shorelines from Thursday night into early Sunday morning.
