A youth is feared to have been washed away in floods caused due to heavy rains at Kogre village in Koppa taluk on Wednesday. Jayapur Police, Fire and Emergency staff and local people are in search of Ashok, a resident of Meguru in Sringeri taluk. During the search, his vehicle has been traced.
The search operation is still on.
