Hennessey’s 1,056 HP Demon Soundtrack Is Guaranteed To Blow You Away

After 3,300 units, Dodge ceased production of the Challenger SRT Demon a couple of months ago.

Nevertheless, the internet has welcomed a good chunk of various videos depicting the possessed muscle car in action, some of them more exciting than others.

Tuners have also gotten their hands on several examples, including Hennessey, which has come up with an even more powerful Demon. Their model is equipped with the HPE1000 package, which allows the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine to push out in excess of 1,000 horsepower.

A recent dyno testing revealed a mind-blowing 1,056hp (1,070PS / 788kW) and 967lb-ft (1,311Nm) of torque produced at the crankshaft. So, comparing it to the regular muscle car, it’s 216hp (218PS / 161kW) more powerful, which, according to the tuner, allows it to reach 60mph (96km/h) in a whopping 1.93 seconds and to run the quarter mile in 9.38 seconds, at almost 147mph (237km/h).

There’s no doubt that the Hennessey Dodge Demon is a very impressive beast, capable of smoking some very expensive supercars, but have you actually heard how good it sounds?

Regardless of your answer, the aftermarket specialist has released yet another video with the high-performance model, showing it accelerating a few times and highlighting its V8 symphony, which, we have to admit, sounds very good. But you can see and hear it for yourselves by scrolling down and hitting the play button.
