Nitish, Shah to discuss poll issues in July 12 meeting

All eyes are set on the visit of BJP president Amit Shah on July 12 when he will dine with Chief Minister and JD(U) president Nitish Kumar and will have detailed discussion of the political as well as poll related issues. Shah who will arrive on Thursday morning will also have breakfast with the CM and BJP leaders.

Shah, though have visited Bihar earlier twice but this will be his first visit when his party is sharing power with the JD(U). He last came during Assembly election 2015 when his party had no alliance with any party. “We are all very excited to welcome our president. Our party under him becme world’s biggest party and this gives us feeling of immense pride,” said Bihar BJP chief Nityanand Rai on Tuesday.

Soon after his arrival Shah will land at the State Guesthouse where he will have breakfast with the CM and State leaders of the BJP. In the night Shah will drove to CM residence 1, Aney Marg and will have dinner with Nitish.

“This is going to be very historic visit of BJP president and all rank and file of the party will welcome him with pomp and show,” said Rai and added that Shah will attend meeting of party’s social media and then speak to workers. The most important meeting s to be held at the State Guesthouse in the afternoon where he will discuss threadbare the election related issues and poll preparedness where the members of election committees will be present.

Nitish had also confirmed his proposed meeting with Shah and said he was ready to discuss all related issues but there was no fixed agenda of the talks. In all probability the presidents of the two allies will have deliberations on the seat sharing matter. Shah will return to Delhi on Friday morning.
