State-level officers will visit various districts to solve technical issues cropping up in Dharani project to facilitate uploading of land revenue records, updating the records soon after a transaction and transparent land registration system.
This was disclosed in the review of Dharani project with District Collectors during a video conference by Chief Secretary S.K. Joshi here on Tuesday.
He asked the Collectors to speed up the digital signature process for pattadar passbooks and day to day progress of distribution of passbooks and uploading of corrected data should be reviewed village and mandal-wise as per the set targets. In case of technical difficulties, State-level officers would visit the places and resolve them, he said.
Mr. Joshi further said that the printing of passbooks be expedited at the mandal and central-level and special focus be paid on correction of errors in pattadar passbooks.
Reviewing the progress of Open Defecation Free programme, Mr. Joshi said Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao gave instruction to make entire Telangana a ODF State by October 2 and directed all the Collectors to speed up the construction of individual toilets. As there is not much time, Collectors should accord the programme priority and ensure completion of construction, he said. The Centre is releasing funds for the construction of toilets and available funds should be utilised to complete the construction within the deadline.
The meeting also reviewed the land acquisition programme and as per the GO 123, 2013, the details of acquired lands be uploaded and the Collectors should coordinate with Sub Divisional Collector and Revenue Divisional Officers. In future, proposals for land acquisition would be accepted only online, he said.
Vikas Raj, Principal Secretary, Panchayat Raj, said that along with the utilisation certificates for the funds released by the government for land acquisition, details of amount deposited in the PD accounts be uploaded. Payments for the acquired lands be paid by December-end and nothing should be kept pending.
