Motorcyclist in serious condition after Melbourne CBD crash
The intersection of Elizabeth and Lonsdale streets in Melbourne's CBD is closed following a crash that has left a motorcyclist in a serious condition.
The motorcyclist came off his bike near the intersection about 9.15am.
The rider, a man in his 30s, has been taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with a suspected head injury.
"The exact circumstances around the collision are currently being investigated," a police spokeswomn said.
No one else was injured.

Police have advised people to avoid the area.
The intersection has been blocked off and trams in the area have been delayed, as police investigate the crash.
